The Family Series Continues

This series is the result of looking at many, many old family photos. Since they exist there's no reason to attempt to duplicate them in paint. What I've hoped to achieve is an essence of a figure, a sense of place without actually describing it, a nostalgia for the past before I was born. All of these things and sometimes only one or two. They are intentionally under-painted as our memories as often indistinct sensory recollections.
